The frequency of auto detailing depends on various factors, including your personal preferences, driving habits, local climate, and the overall condition of your vehicle. It’s a good idea to perform a basic detailing, including washing and interior cleaning, every 2-4 weeks. This helps to prevent the buildup of dirt, grime, and contaminants that can damage your vehicle’s paint and interior surfaces.

Brushes and cloth strips in automatic car washes can accumulate dirt and debris over time. If not cleaned regularly, these particles can act like abrasive sandpaper, causing swirl marks, fine scratches, and paint damage as they rub against your car’s surface. Also, low-quality or overly harsh cleaning agents used in car washes can strip away the protective coatings on your car’s paint and damage the plastic trim of your vehicle.
